Media Committee met and discussed several topics
1) OccupySD facebook page and OSD99 twitter account
We phone conferenced with Shahrakh regarding the OSD99 (@OccupySD99) twitter. We discussed the history of the OSD99 twitter and its link to the OSD facebook page (both initially created by Eugene Davidovich as secondary social media outlets), and how the person who's currently using it exclusively is Cristie Paris. We also discussed how Anoki was able to convince the owner of occupysandiego.org and occupysd.org to re-direct it to sandiegooccupy.org (it was going to the OB Rag before). Shahrakh proposed that we eliminate both the OSD99 twitter and the Occupy San Diego facebook page. The phone conference was ended, we called to consensus on that proposal and everyone either abstained or blocked the proposal. Another proposal was made to incorporate the OSD99 twitter and the Occupy San Diego FB page into Media Committee and to change the name of the @OccupySD99 to @OccupySD619. The proposal passed without opposition. (UPDATE: @OccupySD619 had been taken already, so it is now currently @occupysd_2)
2) info@sandiegooccupy.org email account
We consensed that David Abramson will become a password holder of this email account
3) Website changes
a) We have added the ability to post PDFs in comments, blogs, event pages, forum topics, and everything else too.
b) We want to add a little more pizaz to the home page. Anoki is working on creating some designs.
4) David is looking for somebody to help him with php code. We need help for the sandiegooccupieds website. The beta is currently at www.proof-positive.net
5) We agreed to hold media committee again next week at the same time, Saturday at 4.
Did I miss anything?

A few corrections
I just wanted to make a few corrections to Will's post.
First, PDF attachments have indeed been added to Blog posts, but nothing has been done on my end (that is, the administration end) to enable PDF uploads on any other type of post. As bandwidth, disk space, and spam are always issues on our plate behind the scenes, posting multi-megabyte PDF files ought not be unrestricted. If you have a PDF that needs posted to the site, have one of our many bloggers blog it or contact us to become a blogger yourself!
