New to OSD

Hello all. My name is Miguel Baltierra. I'm new to San Diego, moved to Mission hills here from San Bernardino a month ago. Like i said before im new to SD but not new to the occupy movement. I have been to OLA during its 1st days, then next to my home town at Occupy Riverside, i helped start up Occupy San Bernardino Valley, i went to OWS last novemeber for the shut down wall st event, then checked out ODC for a bit. I have learned that all these occupations have loving and great people, who care about me and others no matter how you look or act, its amazing engery. But yea now that im a bit more settle I'm now looking to get involved in OSD. I have been to only 1 event and that was the occupy our arts thing in downtown. Very cool art work, people and food. But I havnt made it to any GAs because I started work and they usually schedule me around GA time. But now that I have work there for over a month I can start requesting what days I want off and what time I want to work. I was hoping to attend GA this coming weekend but y'all canceled it due to pride festival, which i also plan to attend. :-)

But yea I got some ideas for OSD, like maybe a weekly drum circle at the downtown banks. Something we use to do in Riverside. I feel that we have to bring attention to those whole have control over our government, money, etc. I hope to attend next week GA on Wednesday to introduce myself and maybeshare my "proposal"

I hope to see y'all there and I hope to make some new friends.

Btw does anyone know if Occupy San Diego City college have GAs? I'm going to start attending classes there this fall, it would be great to make occupy Friends there too.
