San Diego CommUNITY Building Celebration!
presented by the Local Earth Collective & Partners
Fun-raiser / Fall Equinox / September 22
Vision: Creating a healthy, happy & sustainable world!
Mission: Bringing the community of San Diego together in celebration of healthy & sustainable lifestyle. The event is focused around the shared basic needs of everyone in our community (food, water, energy, shelter, waste etc.). Our intention is to promote sustainable community systems that support our common needs in a socially & ecologically responsible manner.
We are looking for volunteers to help with this community building celebration on September 22nd! We are looking for people to help make this event run smoothly, while having a great time! This is a community building event with many fun, inspiring and educational activities to participate in! There will be hands-on workshops and presentations from 1:00 - 7:00 PM focused on permaculture, sustainability, healthy lifestyle, natural building, organic agriculture, resource management, local currency and renewable energy. This is a fun-raising event to kick-off and support the San Diego CommUNITY Gardening Project!
